Blazer: Vintage (Handmade by my great-grandmother), Shirt: GAP, Jeans: GAP, Shoes: Charlotte Russe, Necklace: JCrew

You have no idea how difficult it was to convince my sister to take these pictures outside in our backyard. She was too concentrated on her pasta in the microwave and as a result, half of them wound up blurry with no head. Thanks, Kate.
I haven’t played around with the preppy look in a while and I felt the urge to do so this morning. Queue navy blue blazer and oxford heels. The jeans are GAP’s “Easy Straight” fit, so they’re a little bit looser around the calves then some of my other pants.
We went and saw this movie this afternoon:

I haven’t decided if I liked it or not yet. It was cute, but at the same time…not. Neil Patrick Harris was hilarious and Mary-Kate Olsen was faboosh, but that’s about it. I kind of want to read the book now so I can compare the two.
Have you seen the movie/read the book? What were your thoughts?
