Jacket: GAP; Dress: Abercrombie and Fitch; Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell; Sunnies: Oliver Peoples ‘Sofee’; Necklace: Lucky Brand
I hate to admit it, but Abercrombie and Fitch has become something of a guilty pleasure for me in recent months. Their clothes just aren’t as obvious anymore. Instead of being bombarded by logos when I walk in there, I’m now being greeted by lush fabrics, decent prices and some incredible basics that are hard to turn down (this dress included).
News just broke this week that the folks over at A&F are revamping the brand – which includes dropping its logo from the majority of the pieces sold in North America. Additionally, the brand is now describing itself as “the essence of laidback sophistication with an element of simplicity.” It’s a far cry from the A&F that I knew growing up. Speaking from experience – I used to hate that place. Now, I can’t seem to make a trip to the mall without going home with something from them.
