The third day we were in Ireland it was Saint Patrick’s Day! My mom had told us that it wasn’t a big deal in Ireland, but on the actual day we were excited to discover she had been misinformed. Everyone gets the day off work and there are tons of parades, festivals and celebrations all over the country. Needless to say, we had a fun day in store for us…:

We met a little boy named Tristan and while his father and my Aunt talked, we played with him and made sure he didn’t run through too many puddles.

I miss the Irish Scones. Most amazing things I’ve ever tasted. The Starbucks scones taste like dirt in comparison.

At a St. Patrick’s Day festival we found we got to listen to traditional Irish music. The little kids in the courtyard were dancing all over the place.

My aunt really wanted a picture with the waitresses. I think she loved their outfits.

We wound up going to a pub later that night so I could finally try Guinness stout.

It tasted like crap…

But I think Kate was secretly stoked over the fact that she was drinking beer in public.

Outfit:

  • Jeans, True Religion skinnies.
  • Chocolate brown Uggs since I wasn’t in the mood to let me feet freeze.
