On the morning of the second day, we woke up early, had breakfast and headed to Castleblaney, a small city a few hours away from Swords. We checked into a new B&B and headed out to meet my Grandfather’s cousin, Seamus.
The house he lives in is the same one where he was raised, and is also the same one where my Great-Grandfather was born. Apparently when my mom and aunts went to Ireland in 1970, there was no bathroom, only an outhouse in the back…
It was so cold this day, I was so thankful I had put on some extra layers before we headed out. I would’ve frozen if I hadn’t!
- Coat, also Jillian’s. I think it’s Nine West?
- Sweatshirt, thrifted. Bought because the original tags were still on it and because I loved the color.
- Jeans, Marciano. I was wearing my Marciano leggings underneath my jeans as well.
- Boots, bought in Europe back in 2008.
- Scarf, I honestly have no clue how this came to be in my possession. Like many of my clothes, I just discovered it in my room one day…
