A couple of weeks ago, I had the great opportunity to meet up with some of the girls from The Style Club for an incredible afternoon filled with clothes and photos (some of my favorite things!) The Style Club is such a great website; you can shop, watch videos and be inspired by style related blog posts. It’s essentially a one-stop shop with everything you need to both inspire and supply goodies for your closet.
We’re in the height of summer right now, and with that comes countless BBQs and outdoor weekend events. After looking through The Style Club’s fabulous collection of clothes, I knew that I was leaning towards outfits that had a very outdoor vibe, especially since they had so many great floral pieces would be absolutely perfect for all of the various warm-weather activities you may find yourself attending while the summer still rages on.
The ensemble you wear when you’re headed to a BBQ with all of your girlfriends:

Comfy, casual and not too tight, this romper makes so much sense when you just want to hang out and have a good time with the girls. As a girl with a booty, rompers can be a nightmare to find, but I was amazed when I put this one on. Pair it with some chunky, 70s inspired heels – and you have a look that’s not only comfortable, but will have all your friends asking, “OMG – WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?”

Sometimes, florals can get too “nice” – so it’s easy to mix up the vibe with some black leather. A moto jacket is usually my go-to piece whenever I want to look a little edgier, and paired with these incredible strappy pumps, you have a look that’s sure to get you a second glance. On it’s own though, this dress pairs perfectly with gladiator sandals and a cargo jacket – or mix it up by wearing it as a tunic with your favorite pair of denim cutoffs.

Everything about this two-piece set is perfection. The white on white color combo, the all-over sequin detailing, the fact that you can wear it with hot pink shoes and everyone will take you so seriously for it. Even better? The entire back of this top is cut out – making it the perfect 90s inspired piece with a modern twist. Also, I’m slightly obsessed with the fact that each piece is just as good by itself as it is together. I’m not lying when I say I felt like superstar in this set – it’s THAT good.
