My mom, dad and I spent the day today watching the World Cup Championship (GOOOO SPAIIINNNN!!) and then took a drive up to Ventura where we looked at houses and walked on Main Street. We ate some DELICIOUS Indian food and I had a chance to take a look at the new Goodwill store they opened up.
For some reason, the weather here has been all over the place the last few days. I guess it rained yesterday and today it was muggy and cloudy in Moorpark and the second we got to Ventura it remained cloudy but the temperature dropped by a lot. Dun Dun Dun…so much for the Endless Summer, California.
Yesterday at work I was gifted with a $50 gift card that I won for a POW story my manager wrote about me. I was so excited to use it and bought some things that I know I’ll get a lot of use out of…
Outfit:
- Sweater, Marciano (see below).
- Studded belt, Marciano (see below).
- Dress, F21.
- Flats, GAP.
I bought this belt primarily because it reminded me of the one that Sarah Jessica Parker wore in the first Sex and the City movie. I was obsessed with it then and when I tried this one on at work, I was instantly brought back to the scenes in the film where she rocked it over things I would’ve never thought could go with a studded belt.
I love how it is elastic and breathes with you and I’m CRAZY over how thick it is. I must’ve tried on about ten different outfits this morning with it. It has the power to just making an outfit pop out at you, adding pizazz to something that would normally be “blah” (today’s outfit is a good example of this…).
Want it? Check it out
here! We’ve got quite a few left in the store too, if you’re as Bradshaw obsessed as me…
The sweater I picked up is equally as exciting as the belt. It’s the most versatile item I’ve ever come across by Marciano and I just about had to have it the second I tried it on. My manager sat there explaining all the ways to wear it and I just about had a heart attack. Want to know why? This sweater can be worn in not one, not two, but THREE different ways. THREE SWEATERS IN ONE!
Option A:
Option B:
Option C:
Like it? Check it out here. It also comes in a really interest gray/royal blue combo that works well with any of the different ways of wearing it. We’re literally down to one more of these in stock at the store, so the best way to get one would be online. I’m usually a small in Marciano sizes, but I picked up this one in an XS due to all the fabric. I wore it as Option C today, since I liked how it looked combined with the belt…
I figured it would be a great sweater to bring with me back east when I leave, since it’s thin and lightweight. The temperature over there is breaking records, but I’m always cold, so I’ll probably just throw this in my purse when I leave the house in the morning so I have something to put on when it gets darker out…
PS: extra apologies for the random sizes of all of these pictures. I have no idea why some are coming out HUGE while others not so much. I never used to have this problem before! DAMN YOU PHOTOBUCKET!
How would you wear these new items?
Would you be as excited about the multiple ways of wearing them as I am?
