I dragged Trevor outside yesterday and forced him to take pictures of my outfit.

Guess by Marciano leopard dress, Aldo “Calcagni” Wedges, Assorted Jewelry, Essie “Fifth Avenue” Polish, Mac “Ruby Woo” Lipstick
I had been in love with this dress when we had it at work. I probably tried it on a dozen times, on the brink of buying it, and then kept saying “Nooooooo, I don’t need it!”
(It was what I wanted to wear when I went to Teen Vogue Fashion U back in October)
Then, by a stroke of MAGICAL luck, I was shopping in a thrift store last Monday AND I FOUND IT! $12.99 and it was mine. I had to fix a tiny little problem with the leather braiding, but it took five minutes and you can’t even tell that it was slightly damaged once upon a time.
Obviously, you can tell that my favorite part about it is that it twirls. I love dresses that twirl. It’s one of my favorite things in the world.
The shoes. THE SHOES. The shoes. I love these shoes. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Probably my third favorite Christmas present (after my Apple TV and my steamer).
The MAC lipstick and the Essie nailpolish are currently my two favorite shades of red. Ruby Woo has the most magnificent WHAM factor to it. Every time I put it on, I feel like I’ve been catapulted back in time to a place where red lipstick was the norm and it’s what every glamazon wore. The nail polish is so bright and cheerful and makes me think it’s summer, even though it’s the middle of January.

After I turned the camera on him…this is what he gave me.
It’s okay. Even when he’s goofy, I still want to smother him with kisses.

You’ve got to love California sunsets.
Sometimes I’m so in love with this state, it isn’t even funny.
