Friday was another night spent at Open Borders (and not the last this weekend)…and this time we got to see the Preservation Hall Jazz Band from New Orleans.
The music was so great and the audience was so wonderful. It was just so easy to get into the music and let the amazing instrumentals fill you to the brim, you know? It can hit your soul the way no other music can. It made me super excited for the music trip through the South that my Dad and I have been planning for once I turn 21. So stoked!
I was also lucky enough to get to go backstage during the performance and I took a TON of pictures. The manager of the band wound up approaching me and gave me his card, telling him to send him over some pictures and if the band likes them, they’ll use them.
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.
On a side note, I’m currently obsessed with the show Bones. Anyone ever seen it?
I’m watching it right now…as I type this.
Not gonna lie, this post has taken twice as long just because Brennan and Booth and all of their tension has me VERY distracted.
