Sweater: Thrifted, Jeans: Guess by Marciano, Booties: Old Navy, Assorted Necklaces
Oscar Sunday snuck up on us this year! It used to be that my family went all out…complete with a massive party (formal dress required). These days, it’s much simpler than it used to be, but I still always look forward to catching the newest “Oscar” flicks at the local theater before the big day. Tonight, I celebrated by hanging out on my boyfriend’s couch, eating lamb chops and drinking too much wine (no complaints from me!)
This year, I was rooting for Hugo and Midnight in Paris. I didn’t get to see The Artist, but after it won big tonight, I’m looking forward to seeing it! In celebration of Octavia Spencer’s big win tonight, I’m watching The Help and practicing my own Oscar speech in my head.
Oh to be a part of Hollywood tonight…
This sweater is pretty much my new favorite…I literally wear it once a week. It’s so comfortable and the fabric is so cozy and soft (even though it looks like it stepped out of an episode of Buffy). The booties were a gottahave once I saw them in what seemed like a dozen DIYs in the blogosphere.
How was your Oscar Sunday? Did you celebrate as well?
