I’m allergic to cats…but today called for a little bit of leopard.
I mean, it IS Monday. We have to make it fun somehow!

It can always be difficult to NOT wear a dress the same way every time that you wear it. This dress is no exception. The pattern is so “different” and the style of it (sweater top, braided leather at the waist) can prevent experimentation. I opted to go with different shoes and a hell of a lot more jewelry this time around, just to break the cycle and not wear the same thing twice (eek!).

Mother’s Day was yesterday and it was quite nice. My boyfriend’s family had a giant BBQ and invited everyone over for some good food and lots of wine.
Always a fun way to spend holidays (even the “hallmark” ones!)
And thanks to everyone for all the good luck wishes on the job interview on Friday!
I guess the universe heard all of you because she called me this afternoon and offered me the position! She said that she thinks it will be a great fit, especially considering the career I eventually want to go into.

I felt like every blogger and her mother had these shoes when they came out. They’re so cute but at the same time, SO uncomfortable. I consider them a pair of “sit and look pretty” shoes. No walking allowed.
They had a floral version of these a few months back and I was lusting after them, but of course they were gone before I had a chance to snatch up a pair for myself.
Damn you Forever 21 and your small amount of merchandise.
And while I’m at it, shouldn’t Forever 21 start making half sizes?
HALF SIZES EXIST AND I’M ONE OF THEM!
I’m sick of trying to squeeze my feet into a pair of toosmall shoes, or drown in a pair that is a half size too big.
