We FINALLY made it over to the Diane Von Furstenburg exhibit over at LACMA. Appropriately titled “Journey of a Dress” – the exhibit expertly celebrates the 40th anniversary of the famous wrap dress, complete with HUNDREDS examples of this iconic look.
My mom, family friend and I ventured over there on Friday after work and it was well worth the trek. Even better, admission into the exhibit is FREE – so if you’re in the area and are as obsessed with fashion as I am, this is definitely a must see…
Jeans: Marciano; Sweater: Thrifted: Boots: Frye; Socks: H&M
My FAVORITE part of the exhibit were the walls and floors. As you can tell from these photos, the entire room was covered in different prints made famous from several of her dresses. I loved loved loved the hot pink animal print wall!
And of course, no trip to LACMA is complete without a stop at the famous Urban Lights display (even if it did start raining as soon as we got to them…):
Have any of you seen the exhibit yet? What were your thoughts?
