Dress: Vintage ($6); Shoes: Oka b. ($25, sale); Clutch: Guess by Marciano ($44 w. Discount)
The weather in California has been so nice lately, that it felt like it was time for me to start pulling out some of the vintage dresses I’d been buying during the colder months. With its lavender coloring, pretty floral print and adorable back detailing, I couldn’t resist this one when I saw it on the rack at my local Goodwill. Today, everyone kept complimenting this dress, and it made me so happy I took the chance on it earlier in the year!
I bought this clutch on a whim during employee bonus days at work and it was one of the best buys ever! I wear it with everything, since (in my mind) the neutral snake print literally goes with everything in my closet. It’s such an easy way to “fashion” up an outfit, since mixing prints always brings everything to another level. I love love love it!

And on another note, I attempted this DIY, and failed miserably. Here’s proof:

For some reason the white spray paint worked fine, but as soon as I put on the yellow paint, it started bubbling and peeling off and got all ugly and gross. It was so depressing, especially since my neon yellow pumps had become so close to my heart (I literally dreamed about them…oh well)…
Soooooo, I did my favorite new trick! Glitter!:

I think that I was able to save them. I’ll probably have to do one more look over, just to make sure I got all the neon off the shoes, but overall I’m pleased with them!
Whew, that was a close one!
xo.
