In a month and a half, I’ll be in Paris…
Until then, I’ll just fill my time with looking at pictures and daydreaming about the Eiffel Tower.

Shirt: GAP (thrifted), Skirt: Express (thrifted), Necklace: BCBG, Shoes: Christian Siriano for Payless
Spring has officially arrived in Southern California. The weather is beautiful and my favorite part of the day is driving home from school with the windows down and a good song blasting through the speakers.
The past couple of day have called for “springy” outfits.
Today was no exception. I wanted zero black clothing on my body!
(Know the feeling?)
Both the skirt and the shirt were found on a lucky trip to the Goodwill. I love the shirt for the light colors and the fact that it can literally go with everything that I own. The skirt is cream with a great little pattern (can’t see in the photos) and I can already tell I will be wearing it many times over the summer. I’m planning on bringing both with me to Europe, since the neutral colors can go well with anything. Just add a different colored scarf each day and BADDABING so many outfits!!
Tomorrow I have a job interview. I’ve applied to be the Assistant Editor for the school yearbook and tomorrow I’ll be meeting with a handful of people to explain to them why I’m right for the job.
It would be so perfect. Being able to incorporate photography and art with writing would be ideal, and being in an editor position would really teach me what I would need to do when I finally start applying for magazines!
To quote Randy Jackson:
“This girl is in it to win it, Dawg!”
(With a lot of hand motions attached…)
Granted, I’m not competing to be this year’s American Idol, but you still get the point.
Speaking of winning, I’m competing in ANOTHER beauty pageant on May 14th.
I’ve been practicing my song like a crazy person, have been giving myself fake interviews in the car and even bought a new dress.
I’m crossing my fingers that this is my year to bring home the title of Miss Moorpark!
If anyone wants tickets, let me know!
🙂
