I sincerely apologize for the amount of photos of my face you’re about to be bombarded by. I went out on a photo shoot with a friend yesterday and I jumped in front of the camera for a few…and I’m actually really happy with how a lot of them came out! Hurrah!
So…without further ado…my face.

Tee: GAP, $5 on sale
Skirt: White House/Black Market Outlet, $20
Necklace: Chico’s, $30
Sandals: Zara, $50
So whenever I make a post and I’m uploading pictures, I always think about which part of the outfit I want to talk about. usually it’s the shoes, since that’s generally my favorite aspect of any outfit, but in this case, I love every part of this look so much that I’m going to speed rant for you about everything (I realize now that this probably doesn’t need an introduction, but bear with me…) ::
The shirt: I’m a firm believer in the power of a white tee. I’m always buying them. ALWAYS. I love the look of a crisp white shirt with some funky bottoms…always timeless, always classic and always on trend. My favorite ones are from GAP, just because I love their clothing and their basics are top notch. They never shrink and usually wind up lasting me a good, long while which is good, considering how often I wear them!
The skirt: Bought this baby on sale for $20. TWENTY DOLLARS. I just about had a heart attack in the dressing room when I realized I could squeeze into the 00 thanks to the special elastic waist! It was mine! I grabbed it and held on tight. Every time I wear it, I feel like I’m wearing something special. It’s one of those…you know?
The necklace: Just recently discovered the genius jewelry in Chico’s. Yes, that’s the mom-store in most malls. I was in there with, you guessed it, my mother. We were looking for an outfit for her and I stumbled upon some of the COOLEST accessories I’ve seen in a long time. So much turquoise! This one was a keeper. With the funky pearls and costume jewels, it was the perfect addition to any casual outfit.
The shoes: Who hasn’t seen these shoes? They’re everywhere…and for good reason. I’m a shrimp, and they still don’t cut off my legs. For the most part, they’re pretty comfortable…as I was trampling around for a lot of the day taking these photos in them and they weren’t really hurting. Most of all though, they’re gorgeous as hell. Every time I look at them I feel all happy.
Side note: I’m guilty of buying these in the orange/black/nude combo as well. See…told you I like shoes!

So there you have it! My face and overly excessive explanations all in one post!
Happy (late) Monday!
xoxo,
