A few days ago, a friend texted me asking if I was busy Thursday night.
“No, why?” I responded…
“I have tickets for the Hansel and Gretel premiere. Do you want to go?”
Of course I jumped at the chance. The movie looked awful, but it sounded like a fun night in Hollywood with people I haven’t been able to see that often. I was on board.
As expected, the movie was pretty bad. But it was one of those movies that was so bad, it made it good. I wound up laughing at the ridiculousness of it all a few times, but overall it was fun and mindless and didn’t depress (which a lot of movies wind up doing these days). Would I recommend it? Ehhh. It’s one of those that’s better to wait for it to head to your discount theater or to DVD. Had I paid full price to see it, I probably would’ve been a little peeved.
Dress: F21; Necklace: Aldo; Jacket and Clutch: Marciano; Shoes: Michael Kors
Kind of in love with the high neck/big necklace trend that’s happening right now. I keep pairing this bib necklace with everything; it just brings outfits to another level. I need to keep a serious look out for more necklaces like this…that or go to Aldo and buy myself three more in different colors (here’s hoping they have them!)
Waiting for the movie to start while munching on free popcorn and soda.
The gang (Cesar, Trevor, me, Chantyl and Grier) waiting in line outside of the theater.
