My boyfriend and I decided to take a quick adventure to The Getty Center yesterday. While we were there, we had a great time taking pictures of the flowers and admiring the ridiculously amazing photography exhibits. To say I was inspired is the understatement of the year.
It’s funny how you forget just how much you love a place until you go back there and experience it all over again. Each time I visit the Getty, I’m constantly wowed by the architecture, art, nature and spectacular view. It’s truly one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles…and all you have to pay for is the parking.
After our fabulous day date, Trevor and I met up again to catch a late night showing of Seeking a Friend For The End Of The World. I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I’ve cried in a movie, and this one is added to the list. It’s a really moving and deeply romantic film that makes you think about what you really value in life…and reminds you to make sure you invest your time (and heart) in the right things, before it’s too late. I literally get chills every time I think about it.
I guess this is a mantra that more people should learn to adopt, especially in this digital age we’re living in. If we invest as much time exploring and looking for adventure as we do on the internet, our lives will be much more interesting.
Ulgh. I loved it so much.
