Like most girls, I spend the majority of my time when I’m not at school or out with the BF in my bedroom.
Over the years, it has really become a reflection of who I am. Just looking at these photos, I really see an area that I love. I’ve been able to make it my own with treasures I’ve found and with the the help from people I love.
Sooooo, I’ve decided to share my bedroom with you! Maybe it will help you get inspiration for a room of your own, or maybe it’ll just help you gather a better idea of my style in general…
Either way, here it is:
I love, love, love my huge arched window. Nothing beats the days when I’m laying in bed reading a book and the breeze makes the curtains fly… |
Photos and candles really help make the room more personal. I love photographs and I’m constantly adding new ones to my room. The pink puff in the corner is my Pygmy Puff that I got while at Harry Potter world in Florida back in May. |
More photos and tons of jewelry. |
Lots of bold colors as well as classic pieces… |
Bob Dylan and Paris…two of my favorite things. |
Most of the time, I write my blog posts while laying in bed. My bedside table is filled with DIY materials that I still have to put away! |
My closet outside the closet. |
I fill my rolling rack with all of my favorite pieces for the season. Right now, it’s filled with my best spring/summer clothes. Come fall, I’ll rotate everything! |
Some of my favorite shoes : Target booties, UO booties, Old Navy booties, Target wedges, JC wedges, Aldo wedges, Aldo studded sandals and Aldo ballet flats (for sale) |
The dress form was a Christmas gift from my mom. I’ve had the mirror forever and tend to constantly use it as a scarf rack. Right now, it’s holding some gifted ones and a Chanel one that I scored at a vintage store. |
A wall in my room. I love decorating my walls with memories. The large poster my mom had bought when she was a young girl in France. The framed pictures are collages made for me during my years as a pageant queen. A whiteboard is always a good addition to the room, especially if you like to organize your thoughts by writing them down. |
Shoes for dayssssss. |
One of the dressers in my room…complete with photos, some shoes and Audrey. |
It’s nearly impossible to keep this organized all the time. Usually, the shoes are scattered all over the floor! |
A happy caterpillar gift from a friend and my LV Speedy that I scored for practically NOTHING at a thrift store. |
I tend to write best when I’m sitting at my desk. The desk itself is an antique table that belonged to my great-grandmother. The map on the wall was a gift from one of my best friends…and I can scratch off the countries I’ve been to! |
The orange necklace I bought in South Africa |
Two of my favorite pairs of shoes…both bought for me by my amazing boyfriend. He really does know the way to my heart! |
My Louboutins. Again, a lucky find. I was at a vintage expo in Santa Monica and got REALLY lucky with these. |
I’m a firm believer in the idea that if you want to be a good writer, you have to inhale books. I’m constantly reading and always have a spare book in my purse! |
I’m a very sentimental person. My bulletin board is covered in notes and drawings from friends and family from over the years. |
I have a serious shoe problem! |
What kind of treasures do you have in your bedroom?
xoxo.
