I’ve been on a DIY kick the past couple days, and figured it was an appropriate time to accomplish something that I’ve been meaning to do for (what seems like) a couple of years now…
Dip Dyed (Bleached) Denim!
The actual process is very simple. You just fill up your sink with a ton of bleach and water, find a piece of denim that you’re willing to sacrifice and put the two together! The hard part is waiting for it to finish. I put the jacket in the sink last night around 10pm, and now it’s 8am and it’s still not finished. I’m going to leave it to soak while I’m at school, and hopefully it’ll be done by the time I get home…
I was really inspired by THIS post on A Pair & A Spare (easily my new blog obsession for the moment).
Is this a look that you’d be willing to try? I’m thinking that I’ll try making another one and stud/distress the hell out of it. This could be a cool reason to start an Etsy page!
I’ll keep you posted about the finished product. Hopefully it’ll be done by tonight!
