These were taken on a day trip we all took to San Francisco to celebrate my sister’s 20th birthday!

After her birthday dinner, we found this amazing side alley in Chinatown that had the most perfect lighting. We stopped there for a good half hour and just goofed around with the camera. It was such a perfect end to the night!

It’s always so hard packing for weekend getaways. I always (and I mean ALWAYS) wind up overpacking. I just hate being confined to only a certain number of choices. Of course, when I finally get to the destination, I remember that it’s more about the adventure you’re on and the people you’re with than the clothes that you wear. Sigh. Oh well.
I wound up wearing my parka for pretty much the duration of the trip, just because it’s so much colder in Northern California than in LA! I’ve never been more thankful for a jacket before!
And just because I love him, and think he’s ridiculously good looking:

SA-WOOOOON.
And just to keep all you lovely readers up with what’s going on in my life…my dad and I are heading out on a little road trip on Thursday night! We’re going to Mississippi, Tennessee and Louisiana to check out all the good music spots and historical landmarks. It’s going to be so much fun!
