I call the following my attempt to be a French model from the 1960s:
Coat and Blouse: JC Penny’s, Jeans: Guess by Marciano, Pumps: Steve Madden, Hat: Vintage
This past weekend I had a photoshoot (as if you couldn’t tell by the photos…)
I had such a great time figuring out my “poses” and learning what it takes to be on the other side of the lens. The photographer, Dawn Kovacs, is also a professional make up artist and made me feel the MOST glamourous that I have ever felt. I never fully realized the power of make up before…and now I’m obsessed. She gave me both an eye lift and a nose job with two swipes of her brush: AMAZING!
Here is a closer look at the amazing-ness she was able to accomplish with her magical brush:
(This is seriously the only time in my LIFE that I’ve ever looked like this…)
We did a couple of other looks as well, and I’ll post them a little bit later.
For the time being, the wind outside my window is literally SCREAMING and my allergies/asthma are in top notch form this morning. I’m a really pretty sight right now. And my pretty I mean a hot mess. And by hot mess I mean all I want to do is curl up in bed with a box of tissues and an inhaler.
NICEEE.
