I decided that this would be a multi-functioning blog post.
It would both show off my outfit…AND show off my mother’s Halloween decorations!

My mom is so funny. A few days before every holiday she gets SO into decorating and then both the inside and the outside of the house look as though it came out of some Pottery Barn decorating catalog. I swear there’s a lot more duds on the outside than we photographed…and the inside is a whole another story all together. I kind of wish Halloween was a three month event, just so we could keep up the decorations for that much longer.
I’m obsessed with this sweater. It was a birthday gift from a friend…whose technique for when it comes to buying birthday gifts is to go into the store and find the most bizarre thing he can find. You can’t really tell from the photos, but the metallic “paint” on the sweater is kind of waxy. I love it though. And the girl at my coffee shop loved it too. I know cause she told me so. So waxy, metallic sweaters aren’t just for short girls named Allie.
ALSOOOO (I know, I’m filled with stories right now, right?), last night was great fun.
We went to a costume party and I dressed up as…wait for it…
dead Marilyn Monroe.
Chhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeek it:
The boyfriend dressed up as dead James Dean:
What a pair we made!
Easily, my favorite photo of this night was this one:
Gabby’s costume evolved around the night. She went from cute to badass and kicking everyone’s butts at beer pong. Don’t mess with the Snow.
Okay. I swear I’m done shoving pictures in your face. I hope you enjoy your Sunday (I’ve got a legit photoshoot) and that you’re still fully intact from last night.
Boo!
