Sweater: GAP, Dress (worn as a skirt): Thrifted, Boots: Bought in Europe

I’m slightly (okay, really) obsessed with this dress. Everything about it is great. The high collar, the great swing to the skirt, and the fact that it has POLKA DOTS ALL OVER IT.
I love dots. Almost as much as I love stripes. And white shirts. Whew. The list goes on. But for reals, I love polka dots. Something about them is so classic…and with a nice red lip you look timeless with little effort.

I picked up this piece at the thrift store the other day. It was one of those things where I pulled it from the rack and my grandmother, standing behind me, made quite the scene about it. It goes without saying that I couldn’t leave the store without buying it. It had been Nani-approved!

Here is the dress…worn as a dress (what a concept!):

Too cute, right?
Today was very productive. I met up with Brittany from ThisOutfit and we had a good brainstorming (and wine drinking) session where we talked about the future of her website and the blogs I obsess over. It was great being able to talk about things that interest me…that other people also find interesting! I’ve officially been made an administrator of the website, so prepare to see a lot more from it on here as well.
And if you haven’t signed up for it yet, do it HERE.
