Another Labor Day has come and gone…
Of course, in celebration, we had a BBQ at my neighbor’s house where everyone drank a little too much and a group of us went outside to have a photoshoot.
I haven’t worn this dress in years. Literally, years. I can’t remember the last time I wore it…just that when I bought it, it was my favorite thing ever.
Yesterday, when I put it on, I had one of those moments where I was like: Holy crap, when did this thing get SO SHORT!
Of course, it’s probably been the same length since the day I bought it. Thanks to longer hemlines, I’ve been spoiled by not having to worry about my skirt covering my butt for the duration of the evening. Last night, I was constantly doing that awkward bend-over-sideways-in-order-to-get-something thing. Not so cute. I’m sure when I was 16 I saw no problem in the length.
God, I feel like an old lady.
The best part about end of summer BBQs:

THE FOOD.
Three cheers for watermelon!

What did you all do for this GORGEOUS labor day weekend?
I hope you were able to do something fun, with the people you love most.
