I officially climbed a mountain in Converses!

We spent yesterday morning at a zoo, where I got to feed some groundhogs! Anyone who knows me knows that I have a soft spot for little critters, so I was beyond excited to step into their cage with some carrots to feed them with. I wound up having them all over me trying to get the food from my hands, and I loved it!
Afterwards, we drove to Gavernie where we had a traditional mountain lunch of chicken soup and a blueberry tart (mmmmm!) and then we CLIMBED the mountain.
Okay, so we hiked it. Big difference. It really felt like climbing at certain points.
Our goal: the waterfall.
I’m not kidding when I say the scenery we were able to see yesterday was probably one of the most beautiful views I have seen in my entire life. It was just so enormous and surrounded us from all sides. I loved it so much.
Today, however, my legs are screaming at me for climbing such a steep surface. Sheesh, I’m really going to have to hit the gym hard when I get home.
