This dress only cost me $1.50 during my monthly Goodwill trip a few days ago! I ripped out the shoulder pads, added a belt and WALLAH, floral Maxi that looks like I could’ve got it at H&M or Forever 21. I love those finds, don’t you?
I was inspired by Karla Deras from Karla’s Closet to buy the jacket (bought on the same lucky trip to the Goodwill). I’ve been wanting a cropped denim jacket for a while now and it never occurred to me to look in the little kid’s section!

Since my boyfriend is living in Orange County, I find myself there more than ever before. The drive is only an hour, but sometimes (with traffic) it can be up to three. Damn you 5 Freeway!!!
Anywhoooo…everytime I’m there it always brings me back to 8-10th grades when The OC was in its heyday and I without fail, I would be sitting on my couch when the opening credits rolled. I loved that show. Everything about it. Now, the clothes are outdated and Mischa Barton’s acting is still atrocious, but I will always love me a good OC marathon. Know the feeling?
