wild wild west

On our way home from the beach, Trevor and I made at pit stop at Paramount Ranch – an old ranch that was used in tons of old Westerns and television shows. Remember the show Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman from the 90s? It was shot there. M*A*S*H was too, so I’ve heard. Once upon a time, we even did some of our own filming there on a student film (gasp – without a permit!) These days, not much is filmed there anymore – but locals and tourists are welcome to go and visit to enjoy the scenery as well as hike throughout the grounds.

I remember going as a kid and running around, pretending I was some badass female from the Wild Wild West. I never would have expected running around there in a bikini (and I don’t think that would’ve happened in the Wild West either). I’m tempted to go back with an evening gown sometime soon – the backdrops are too good to resist!!
