As soon as spring rolls around, I just want to smother myself in bright and cheery colors. Even if the weather is more “April showers” than “OMG – IT’S SPRING BREAK LET’S TAN”. When balanced out with a great blouse and blazer (both from my safe haven, JCrew), you have a look that definitely balances the line between belated winter weather and the spring mindset. At the end of the day, it’s hard for me to really complain – since I do hail from sunny Southern California. My heart goes out to all those who are desperate for warm weather – but who are still bundled in their winter coats.
