Sorry it’s taken me so long to post pictures from our lovely Spring trip to Ireland! I’ve been super busy and there are SO many pictures that I just haven’t found the time to sort through the ones I want to post and put them all down on a blog. But the time has come and since there are so many images from our eight day adventure, I’m going to break it down by day. It’ll be easier to keep track of that way.
And so it begins…:
Kate and Emma outside the first B&B we stayed at in a little town called Swords, right outside of Dublin.
How cute is this!?
My sister rocked that Burberry scarf for our entire trip.
My Aunt Karen, Cousin Emma and Sister.
A light post in Dublin. I loved that city.
Emma and I in a courtyard at Trinity College. I could’ve stayed there forever. Honestly, one of the most beautiful campuses I’ve ever seen.
Me waiting for our Grandparents after seeing The Book of Kells. They even made an animated movie based on the book that was nominated for an Oscar this year.
The three of us in a side alley in Dublin. The first day was a ton of fun, but we were all half-asleep since hardly any of us got a lot of sleep on the plane and we were all battling jet lag. It was so great exploring one of Ireland’s more well-known places, and observing all the the people from all over the world who had come to visit as well. After we left Dublin that night, we wound up getting super lost and it took us a good 2 1/2 hours to get back to the B&B, when it probably should’ve only taken 30 minutes. When we finally got back to the house, we discovered one of the hub-caps on the rental car was missing.Nothing beats a day in the City.Outfit:
- Coat, Hollister. Borrowed the day before I left from Jillian when I realized I had no warm winter coats to bring with me.
- Jeans, Guess by Marciano. At this point, no trip is complete without my favorite jeans in tow.
- Sweater, thrifted.
- Scarf, a Christmas gift from a family friend a few years back. The color always makes me happy.
- Boots, Chinese Laundry.
- Bag, bought at Love Culture a few weeks before I left. Bought with the intention of bringing it with me and not caring if it fell apart or not. Thirty dollars well spent.
