The call of Target can be too hard for me to ignore at times. Today was one of those times…

I’m not usually one for anything Gladiator-inspired. The look tends to make me look short and stumpy, so I avoid too many straps.
These wedges however, got my attention immediately. I saw them in Target yesterday and left thinking that if I couldn’t get them out of my mind, I’d go back and get them. This afternoon, I had to make another trip since they were literally all I could think about.
I love how much they stand out against my clothes and how I really don’t have another pair of shoes like them. Also, compared to all the other shoes at Target, they just stood out as looking more put together and classic. I loved the shade of them as well! $30 well spent.
(And yes, my toe nails are mint green. My fingernails are too. Thank you to my nail salon who finally started carrying Essie nail polish!)
Outfit:
  • Gladiator Wedges, Cynthia Vincent for Target.
  • Jeans, Matchstick Jeans by JCrew. Bought on sale at the outlets for $10. I love these jeans. Probably my second favorite pair right behind my Marciano jeans. They just fit so well and are so casual and don’t stretch that much which is always nice. And I like how the one knee is ripped, which I don’t see that often. Usually its both knees and they’re strategically placed to look as though they’re mirror images of one another. Bleh.
  • Tank (w/ lace), Love Culture. I bought it in so many colors!
  • Tank (w/ pocket), thrifted.
  • Sweater, Target. Bought like a year and a half ago from the sale rack. I practically live in this thing…
  • Necklace, stolen from my sister. Hehe…
And! I finally dyed my hair! I was so sick of the half-colored look that I needed to do something about it. So happy I did!
